About Cisco
Hi! You've found my information page! I am a current Junior at Tufts University studying Mathematics. I am from Lexington, Kentucky. I was born in NYC and lived in Connecticut for a few years but have lived in Kentucky for most of my life.
Skills
- I am proficient in C++ and Python and have experience with HTML, LaTeX, MATLAB, and Java.
- Critical and logical thinking are two of my greatest strengths.
- I have experience writing a number of sucessful scientific papers (see projects section).
Interests
Math is and always has been one of my biggest interests. I see mathematical operations, functions, and relations in almost everything I encounter. I do not have a favorite area of math yet as I have not studied all of them, but so far, I am very interested in modeling with PDEs and dynamical systems, functional analysis, and topology.
I am also very interested in computer science. I have found myself taking computer science classes out of peer pressure and ended up loving the projects I was assigned. I frequently find myself on another programming project whether it be for my personal use, research, or school. While I would like to pursue a career in mathematics over computer science, I believe I have a rather robust understanding of several programming languages, algorithms, optimization, as well as machine learning models.

- I have found over 50 four-leaf clovers in my life.
- I have a level 2 high-power rocketry certification.
- My favorite food is eggplant parmesean
- I have been to 13 countries and counting (goal of 25 before I turn 25).
